Kiss of Love events are not kiss fests
Publicly hugging and kissing have long been seen as a vulgar in Indian societies but urinating and showing reproductive organ on the publicly is not considering as a vulgar.

Day before yesterday, the lots of people were arrested at Facebook organized non-violent protest ‘’Kiss of Love’’ in Kerala to challenge conservative scorn of public hugging and kissing; Now it also reached in Kolkata. The campaign, which says it, was taking a stand against moral policing by right-wing group. These opposing groups claimed that public display of affection is against both Indian culture and law of the land under section 294 of Indian penal code, even though both the supreme court and Delhi high court have made it clear that kissing in public is not an obscene act and no criminal proceedings can be initiate, for kissing in public, through landmark judgements.
Basically the Kiss of Love events are not kiss fests, it just the symbolic protest against moral policing. They come down to the streets, in love and in the spirit of solidarity, as students, scholars, teachers and some sensitive people; because they know the difficulties of loving someone in the Indian society, where one finds patriarchy and misogyny entrenched deeply, and no drought, Indian society is packed, it’s very common example is that, when a couple hold the lovers hands, or hold them around the waist in publicly, people look upon us in reproach, It is representing that the culture of hate and misogyny.
