The hardest part of building another company for me has been to consciously take the time to think through problems I’ve encountered before rather than automatically resorting to what I’ve done in the past. A lot of bad habits have been developed in the past from building a company whose sole focus was growing revenue. You’d always take shortcuts just to“get it out” and you never go back to fixing it because there’s always something else to build.

It’s a bit refreshing, to be able to build this company the way I want it to be built. Not worried about sales or operations, just entirely focused on the product. It’s purely a creative process and I like it.
