Trying to defend your friends, eh? Oh, poor Fine brothers, they did nothing wrong (maybe a little, because I’m their friend and trying not to sound biased), people are stupid and they misunderstood their intentions. You have the same attitude as theirs, just like that video they posted right after the controversy.
People are not dumb, you know. You remember what they did to Ellen, right? They encouraged their fans to post the links to their channel on Ellen’s page, because she didn’t mention their names. How can you say that they didn’t want to go after channels? You know they would have. We all know, I don’t know why you’re trying to defend them. Maybe they’re not evil but what they’ve wanted to do was not exactly “normal” either—unless you’re in the business. Is this behaviour any different than what people did to them? For God’s sake, they don’t own these stupid react videos. You say people overreacted because these guys didn’t want to go after people’s videos. Don’t you remember what they have done to other channels? You know exactly what they were trying to do. They didn’t want other people to make react videos. They wanted to eliminate the competition because they didn’t want to improve themselves.
I don’t like the way people reacted and should stop unsubscribing, but they deserve it to some extent. Read their post on Medium again, does that seem like an apology? They’re still blaming people for misunderstanding them. I don’t care if they had good intentions, they don’t have the right to take down videos. There’s a reason TV is less popular these days.
