The Voice is Great but the Audience is Terrible!

**Rant!**

I love watching the Voice UK. Especially the blind auditions. The quality of the singers is on another level compared to the Xfactor.

But recently there is a big problem with the show that I noticed when viewing the Voice on Saturday night.

That’s the Audience. They are ruining my enjoyment of the show! What drives me mad is as soon as the performer starts singing the Audience start cheering and clapping. The would be fine apart from you can’t hear the singers voice over the loud cheering and whooping.

On top of that, they start flapping their arms about within seconds of the artist singing. With the intention of making the judges press their buttons.

That would be ok if they knew what they were listening to, or even if they only did it for outstanding performances. But they do it for every single blooming act!

So why do they think that the judges would even contemplate pressing the button because they say so? Of course, I know they are told when to do this. Watching them make these silly arm movements like they have become possessed is utterly annoying!

Because the show tells them to do it doesn’t make it any less infuriating to watch.

All the show producers need to do is dial down the volume of the Audience and stop them flapping their arms around. That would make the show more enjoyable to watch, which is the point of the show?

Better still shut them up completely and don’t film them! Because they are not the reason I watch the show.

It’s not only me that has become annoyed by the Audience either. There are plenty of complaints on Twitter and News sites from people who have had enough of the cheering, clapping and flapping.

If the producers will get their heads out their arses and sort this mess out, if only for my benefit so I can enjoy the show I used to love.

I could even tolerate the flailing arms if they only did it for the outstanding performances and not every single act.

It’s not too much to ask for?
