How to never go broke

Fear prevents geniuses from showing their talents. There are probably thousands of people who are not chasing their dreams because of their fear of failure. And I get it. But you know what? Waiting does not bring anyone any success, ever. Whatever happens, to you, here is why you never lose anything.

If you’re able to create chaos, you’re able to create order

We create our own circumstances. And to be honest, I have often created unfavourable circumstances for myself when it came to business. It was either a business model that required too much work, or something that had very little meaning to me.

However, when I stopped to analyse my situation, I was able to change the rules and create something that didn’t require as much of my presence and worked just as well.

What you have to remember is that you have an ability to create something. If your mindset when you create isn’t in the right place, you will create something that doesn’t work optimally for you, but you’ll be able to create it.

Why you never really lose money

Investing in the wrong system, seeing your savings disappear is never easy. It’s happened to me several times and I never enjoyed it. However, I was always able to make the money back. Whatever happened, I found a way when I had no choice.

The only real loss would be if you lost the ability to make money. This is why a business based on physical products will be more fragile in the long term than a business based on services. If you only need your brain to make money, you’re safe for life.

The ability to make money comes down to how much value you can bring into someone’s life. The more you train at this particular skill, the better your ability will be. Therefore it doesn’t matter if it’s the fifth time you’re running out of savings, you make them back even faster.

Your biggest source of wealth

Your biggest source of wealth is time, and your ability to make it valuable for others. Some say you should never trade your time for money, but you always do at some point or another. What you can change is what you get out of an hour of your work.

You’re probably familiar with the story of Picasso. Whether it’s true or not is besides the point. He was sketching in the park and a woman asked him to draw his portrait. At first he didn’t want to and she insisted so he drew it in 5 minutes.

When she asked him the price, he said “5000 dollars” to which she answered that it was unfair because it has only taken him 5 minutes to draw it. And Picasso’s famous answer was “No, Madame, it took me my entire life.”

Again, the question is not whether this is true or not. The knowledge and the experience you acquired mean that your value increases with time. Therefore your biggest source of wealth is how you invest your time. If you balance learning with personal growth, along with business experience, your time will be extremely valuable.

There is only one of you. Make sure that this “you” becomes very expensive. Plant as many seeds as possible, but make sure all areas of your life grow. If you become poor in one area of your life, it will reflect on other and decrease your value. That means you should take care of your marriage, your health, and your well-being as well as your business. Think of it as a long term investment.
