How to choose a laptop for programming
Ayo Isaiah

Great article, thanks for sharing!

Have you given any serious consideration to Chromebooks? There are many options available and are quite cost-efficient compared to other notebooks. I use the Pixel 2 for my day-to-day programming needs and use hosted development tools to get my work done. Fast SSD boots, the lightweight form-factor, and beautifully sharp screen are the reasons why I choose Chromebooks over the Macs.

I also use Chrome OS daily, but have installed Linux and Windows in the past with a tad bit of work. It has worked exceedingly well for my web development needs.

Bonus: Newer Chromebook models also allow you to run Android apps with Chrome OS. Just something to consider.
