How rigorous are you about defining these as ‘non-grid’? Isn’t the special sauce of all these that they are massively centralizing dispatch, routing, payments, etc. Uber relies on a palette of truly mega-grids from GPS to 4G to the Interpipes. Maybe there is a distinction to make between the front and and back end?
