Anthony Petrello is one of the leading management executives in the energy industry based in the U.S. He is the current CEO of Nabors Industries Ltd., an oil drilling and oil-field service and maintenance company with more than 500 operational oil rigs in 25 countries. This makes it the largest provider of both onshore and offshore rig fleet operating in Africa, North and South America, as well as both the Far and the Middle East.

He joined Nabors Industries in 1991, and over the years has served as the Chief Operating Officer, President, and Chairman of both the Board of Directors and the board’s Executive Committee. Prior to joining Nabors, he served as the Managing Partner of Baker & McKenzie’s law office in New York. Here he specialized in corporate law, taxation, and international arbitration.

Their main motivation for this is their daughter, Carena, who was born with Periventricular Leukomalacia, a condition that causes developmental issues in children.
