Scientists Question NSCA over HMB Study Results & Financial Conflicts of Interest
A group of scientists recently took the National Strength & Conditioning Association to task over the better-than-steroids results being reported from a dietary supplement. Unsurprisingly, the supplement in question is HMB. And just as unsurprisingly, the study was authored by Dr. Wilson and Dr. Lowery.
Skepticism over the efficacy of the supplement in question has been a constant theme in the industry for the past several years, as has speculation on undisclosed financial conflicts of interest that may exist between the primary researchers and the patent holder.
