I would assume that conversion to real developers (ones who can build career in competitive environment) will be low. Coding is just another application of logical thinking, which is developed from very first years in Western culture. Games we play, books we read, things our parent talk about.. Even in Russia, which is known for math and engineering talents, most of people can not be effectively taught to be programmers because they lack fundamental education in math and logic. Many people here in their late 20s are trying to get into IT because of higher salary. And failing.
