Locktrip booking instruction
- Go to the LOCKTRIP platform at https://beta.locktrip.com/?refId=11185. Enter the data in ENGLISH.
In the “Choose a location” field, write the country and select a region from the drop-down list (for example, Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt), dates (from … to), the number of rooms, adults, children and press the “Search” button.
2) A list of hotels appears. Choose the hotel you like or, if you want to choose a particular hotel, then in the “Name” field indicate the name of the hotel.
For example, you want to relax in Turkey, Antalya and have chosen the Sealife Family Resort Hotel.

You enter the name of the hotel on LOCKTRIP (or select it from the list), press “Enter” and click on the found hotel.
On top will be a description in English. Go down below and see the words “Facilities” and the pictures under it.
These are amenities (in other words, what amenities are in the room and on site). If you click on the plus sign and the red number (+35), the whole list will fall out.
Below you can see the words “Available Rooms”. If you want to compare the cost with another booking service, to make the comparison correct, you must select the exact same room. For example, Double With Side Sea View (All Inclusive) — 140.39 LOC / night. This is $ 121.58 (take the LOC / USD rate at the top of the site and multiply the LOC by the course). For registered users, the site shows the price in USD (euro) and in LOC (how to register read below).
The amount is $ 851.08 ($ 121.58 x 7 nights + a small commission for payment with card).
3) Click the “Login” button. In the form that appears below, click Sign up and you will see the registration form. Enter your email, first name, last name, country (select from the list) and password. Click “Proceed”.
After registration, you are redirected to your booking.
In the window that appears, enter the name and surnames in English (like in Foreign Passport) of those who will stay in the room. Click the “Proceed” button.
4) Next, you will receive information on payment and cancellation conditions. Read them carefully.
You will be offered 2 payment methods. Payment by LOC tokens is cheaper (a commission is charged for credit card payment), if you understand in cryptocurrencies, I advise you to choose this option. You can also pay by credit card. Click the button “Рay with credit card”, enter the data of your card and make the payment. If you pay in national currency, the conversion rate will be commercial, of the bank with which it is issued (usually indicated on this bank’s website). IMPORTANT: be sure to take with you the card that you pay for your booking! Some hotels require you to show it on arrival.
5) Carefully check your email — you will receive a letter with the booking ID number. If you want to check the reservation, you can call / write the hotel the next day to confirm the reservation, indicating this number and your surname.
6) Do you want to compare prices and make sure LOCKTRIP is cheaper?
Choose on any booking website (for example, Booking. Com) the right hotel and room.
Carefully read all the room conditions and booking details.
I will reveal the secret: conditions and amenities for all booking sites are the same, so if, for example, it is stated that the room is with a hairdryer, the hairdryer will be in the room regardless on which booking site you will order this room.
Price — US $ 977 for 7 nights (on the Booking.com website).
The difference of $ 125.92 on this amount is significant. This is 13%.
Important advice: some unscrupulous hotel workers are trying to fool visitors by trying to impose on them not rooms that they ordered or rooms with faulty equipment. To prevent this from happening to you, print a screenshot of the booking conditions and insist on meeting these conditions. If the worker refuses you, write to the LOCKTRIP support service (the “Support” tab on the website) and they will promptly help you in solving the problem.
