This image was attempted by scientists using Midjourney, with over 300 attempts to get a result. Through DALLE-3 it’s possible; it took 5.

Now, I’ll admit that I’ve been prompting for a long time, and I did craft the image to remove the bias inherent in the Midjourney prompt.

The lesson here is that there is bias in both the training data for AI imagery and in the language used (the prompt itself) to ask for the image.

But…mostly in the training data.
