Parkfy is connecting Madrid and Barcelona

We´ve been iterating the product for almost a year now and looking back at our numbers, we can see a fairly sustained incoming cashflow since April and we see organic growth in the supply and demand side. Rental locations are largely sporadic at this stage, but we see most rentals taking place at Madrid and Barcelona. The interaction between drivers and parking spot owners is getting better through time. It seems that we´ve managed to get people to park at private parking spots like they would do anywhere else and that is a big deal when it comes to connecting traffic between cities.
We thought we´d see a considerable decrease in activity entering the “deep” summer, but it turns out people move around a lot at this time of the year and Parkfy is, it seems, one of the cheaper and safer options when it comes to parking at a foreign city for a number of days. The activity we´ve seen at Parkfy throughout July so far is 200% greater than the average activity in the April-June period and it´s mostly people moving from Madrid to Barcelona and/or viceversa.
We´re gathering and processing data to better understand inter-city behavioural patterns to learn more about connecting cities, but it is clear that Parkfy can provide a parking solution to such traffic. This leads on to sinergies with a broad range of mobility related players which we´re very excited about.
Parkfy 2.0 (the real 2.0) is coming along nicely and we expect to launch it shortly after the summer. Apart from inter-city related enhancements, we´re re-building our intra-city solution, which we expect will change the way people look at parking for rutinary activities.
