Describe to Italians a cosmopolitan and modern vision of South Africa, with its high increase of international tourism is hard mission but is much easier if you include in your speech beautiful beaches, surfers and good food, as if you have to convince or reassure them every time. However, their idea of Safari is indissoluble, the desire to take home an ethnic souvenir, inalienable. Absolutely normal, for tourists who travel 20 hours at least and want at all costs a gift from Africa but from a place where “Africa” seems do not exists! Much more difficult, or impossible, is talk about topics that appear light years away from the Italian vision of South Africa, like: fashion, nightlife, opening of shopping malls, design, concerts and what young South Africans do to have fun. Not only camping under the african stars in Hemingway style, but super cool events waited impatiently like a gift under the christmas tree.

If you are between 18 and 30 years old — even if you’re italians — it’s no more acceptable do not associate to Cape Town and Johannesburg one of the most famous electronic music festival in the world: ULTRA! Who loves music or who is a Tomorrowland fan, surely knows it and that in those days presence of young people from around the world is assured. And not just in South Africa …Effectively Ultra Electronic Music Festival has born in 1999 in Florida thanks to the artistic collaboration between Russell Faibisch and Alex Omes . Save the date of the 4th edition of Ultra South Africa is next February 24 at Cape Town Stadium and on 25 at Nasrec Expo in Joburg with tickets on sale from August 2016. Presented by SAMSUNG and with Red Bull, MTV and Heineken as official sponsors, the festival will have on the front line universal artists such as David Guetta, Martin Garrix, Dash Berlin, DJ Snake, KSHMR, Felix Jaehn, Nic Fanciulli and Black Coffee…

Atmosphere is international and South Africa do not seems so far. Fun, plenty of beer and a rainbow of international flags, go with a beautiful performances and endless music, typical of summer nights. Countdown in South Africa has begun!

But, if you do not resist to wear from Italy Saharan jacket and boots for your “African” journey, well, one thing is certain, this Electronic safari is absolutely malaria-free! (LOL)
