Why do we always want to provide a solution when are just supposed to listen?!?

We’re all guilty of this, but it’s our nature at the end of the day. 
We crave connection and common points that can make us more similar to others. We want to be loved and appreciated, and to feel an integral part of the world we live in. It is that connection-craving mindset that makes us less prone to listen and more prone to share our “autobiography”, which doesn’t just mean talking about ourselves, but also be and feel useful to the interlocutor.
