Every book I’ve read in 2016
Last year I made the commitment to read more, it didn’t need specifically to be in quantity by measuring the total of books read, but in quality instead.
I had previously established a list of books to read, but during the time I deviated a little in this list. In my last blog post the books list was:
1 — Happiness by Design: Change What You Do, Not How You Think
2 — Hooked: How to Build Habit-Forming Products
3 — Antifragile: Things That Gain from Disorder
4 — Start with Why: How Great Leaders Inspire Everyone to Take Action
5 — The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People: Powerful Lessons in Personal Change
6 — The 4-Hour Workweek
Of this group of books I only kept faithful to the first one, “Happiness by Design” and the last two, “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People”, “The 4-Hour Workweek”. The others were left to die in a book store somewhere else.
That said here are the books that enlightened me throughout the year:
1- The Best Investment Advice I Ever Received
2 — The Art of the Start
3 — Rich Dad, Poor Dad
4 — Leading
5 — The Little Prince Puts on His Tie
6 — Think and Grow Rich
7 — The $100 Startup
8 — Happiness by Design: Change What You Do, Not How You Think
9 — The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People: Powerful Lessons in Personal Change
10 — The 4-Hour Workweek
This is it… not much I know, there are people that read this amount of books in a couple of months but I like to take my time reading them, taking notes, digesting the knowledge they provide me with.
For this year, I’m starting with “The Miracle Morning Journal” by Hal Elrod, let’s see if I can create my miracle morning after reading this gem.
If you know or are reading any great book, let me know, I’ll be very glad to add it to my reading list!
Cheers to 2017.
