… appreciation and recognition of the body. Your body image will improve. Your posture will improve. With these things comes confidence. With confidence comes lowered anxiety. With lowered anxiety comes a more here-and-now affirmative attitude towards life in general. With that often come other romantic and/or material rewards.
If we idealize meditation over other things, we also fall into comparative delusion. As the saying goes, “When eating, eat. When sitting, sit.” We must be fully devoted to each momentary task, no matter what. Sometimes this even means being mindful of feeling bad or ‘wrong’.
