All that boring stuff about living in sunny Sydney or being a “developer” you can find in net — it does work for me. Let me took my Nikon, and show you big picture, of a one day in my life.

Morning

I woke up at 7 o’clock. Brush my teeth, and so on. Everything is as usual, until I am leaving my house to catch the bus.

I’ve got an “oval” just next to my house
and quite quite peaceful streets around

I am going to the bus station surrounded by kids. Even if school starts an hour later lots of kids prefer to come early to play with their friends. As long asI am on “temporal” 457 visa, I have to pay for a school — something around 5k$ per kid for a year. As long as I have 2 kids in school — it’s 10k$ per year for me :(. Gratefully I could return around 30% from taxes via salary sacrifice. Anyway — schools here are great, and kids are very happy.

Anyway — my bus stop is next to the school, and that’s time to onboard a bus. Unfortunately is already quite onboarded, and all I could do — read books and articles, or write them if I want. Just a few weeks ago it wasn’t a case, and I were able to sit down, open my laptop and do some job, or opensource.

Just a half hour later I am in the CITY. In the CDB, I love. It is soo different!

The city is full of different shapes. All the buildings looking differently. All the people are different. And they all are looking just great!

A few minutes later I am approaching the building I am working in. Am I working in the Bank? This is a old fashion bank building, with historical bank museum on the ground(aka first) floor.

But there is no “finance stuff” inside. Inside it’s quite modern and cool.

And people inside working hard on their life/work balance…

PS: You have to play Swich as a Team to be the Team!

Late morning

It’s time to get some coffee. The crucial part of being here. EVERYBODY drinks it — and if you are not — you should. Syndeysiders worship good coffee:)

3–4$ per cup.

Afternoon

After coffee — it’s lunch time! Yummy lunch time! Everybody could find something to eat — there always an option for meat lovers, vegans, gluten-free people, and so on. Even ice cream, and beer. And dont forget — everything is tastier with Vegemite!

After lunch

it’s good time to have a small walk around office, just for a better digestion. It took less than 10 minutes to took all these photos — a little bonus of working in the center of the city. Literally — the Grand Post Building(the first photo) at the Martin Place — is the center of the city.

Noon

Noon is a best time to get things done

Evening

5-o-clock! It’s time to go home! All the journey backwards!

Late evening

It’s time to enjoy the being here

Night

And then I sleep — I dream of the Beaches! Mountains! Parks! Forests! Waterfalls! Is it all just a dream?

Does it worth it? Live in a dream. Especially from prospective of 50mm 1.8 Nikon Lense.

PS: And that was actually a winter.
