Are some people born bad?

I’m sure there are lots of scientific studies done on this, however, this is not a scientifically researched or backed answer but rather a purely personal one. I think physically and to some extent, mentally, everyone is born in a highly unique ways with certain traits, appearances, and (God forbid) defects, but regarding conscience, I think we are all born the same. A person’s morality is simply a result of consequences, people and the environment around them over a period of time. There is a window when people are particularly susceptible to influences and the general consensus is when they are children. I’m not quite sure if this can be boiled down to a science as there are plenty of examples of well behaved, polite children who grow up to commit a crime.

I feel there are certain “triggers” that affect everyone, regardless of age, that compel people to act out in a certain way. Some of them are quite abrupt but some chip away bit by bit over extended periods of time so it is often felt before it is seen, so to speak.
