Goal setting is exciting.

The image of pride and joy upon achieving them gets us started on the journey.

Then why do we start slipping?

Are our reasons valid, or are they mere excuses? How do we know?

Accountability can help keep a grip on the goals, but only if we
are ready to speak the truth.

Here’s something you may want to try:

- Have weekly 1:1 with yourself
- Agree with yourself on what you’ll do
- Ask if you did that
- Record the response in a journal or video

It’s a way to look in the mirror and find your answers.

Measuring accomplishments on the go and seeing yourself in action will keep you motivated.

At the same time, noticing slowness will allow you to resolve any hurdles timely.
