Is Google in Danger after ChatGPT?

To understand why Google is terrified we need to have a closer look.

1. Ease of use For example, to search for the Best pasta recipe ChatGPT without any hassle answers with the ingredients and method needed to make pasta. Meanwhile, Google will tell 100s of websites with many kinds of recipes before we finally choose the recipe we find best. This can save huge amount of time.

2. A lot of info to read before we finally get our answer Google is SEO based therefore it has to go through a lot of keywords for one damn search, that is, Google articles are written for SEO. To find the protein content in lamb meat you need to read a lot about meat and its benefits before finding out that it has -----gm of protein.

3. The biggest advantage, you can say, that ChatGPT brought is coding. It codes any kind of programming language.

4. Sometimes, ChatGPT is strangely close yet wrong. My brother asked it for the lyrics to Weight” by Bob Dylan. It somehow knew what the song was about but messed up the lyrics. Google, you guessed it right, nailed this task!

5. I wanted to buy new handbag. When I Googled this question I got access to hundreds of articles with different gift ideas and links to websites.I even got ads of companieswhich I’ve used to buy gifts before. So in this case, Google used its personalized knowledge to find more targeted results from around the web. Meanwhile, ChatGPT has searches for websites. We all have the freedom of choice…?

6. Google is also useful for some questions because it searches the web and gives a clear and concise, direct response. For example, if you search "Economical flights to Dubai," you will see a chart with most recent price information, a calendar with the most likely cheapest days to fly, or numerous websites where you can compare ticket prices on the date of your choice. As ChatGPT has only been trained on data through 2021 and does not currently browse the internet for real-time information, it is completely useless for this kind of request.

7. Google is undoubtedly reliable, maybe due to the years of expertise. ChatGPT is still in testing and goes down from time to time. So people will continue using Google for most searches But if not happy with the results, now they have a useful alternative.

In conclusion, whether ChatGPT is a good alternative to Google as a search engine depends on the particular needs and preferences of the user. It may be a useful option for those who want more personalized and conversational search experience, but it may not be as comprehensive or effective for certain types of searches. Ultimately, the decision to use ChatGPT or another search engine will depend on the individual user’s needs and preferences.

As reviewed by a lot of people, they say: it is good for any sort of formal/informal letter writing, article writing, mathematical theories, or equations.

It however corrects or apologizes for its mistakes and explains its limitations. According to tech insiders,s it has an impressively subjective approach.
