Learning from experiences of a Professional
I called my supervisor where i did internship, shared the 6 tips with him and asked about his experience relating to these throughout his professional life.
He said that at the very beginning of his career he used to bring coffee for senior management and had to open staple pins of vouchers only which also affected his nails,he said, but i never lose hope and continued to do that work as well as applying for other jobs, so he suggested me not to worry if you are asked to do these kind of work employers gives you such type of work just to test your temperament and stamina.
He also shared another experience that once he used to work for a very rude employer and did that job for only 3 months, there was a manager which was very close to the boss and i have observed it in 10–15 days. one day boss also scolded him so at lunch time he came and started saying that it was just a small mistake that i made why is boss getting so rude to me? but i did not said anything against the boss and changed the topic and the very next day boss gave him a major project he was very happy and started praising boss while talking to me so i thanked that i did not said anything bad yesterday otherwise he might have told the boss about what did i said bad about him.
when i shared the “building network” technique with him he strongly agreed with it and recommended me to do the same. Overall it was a good experiences to hear about his many interesting experiences and i believe that what i learned from his experiences will be useful to me in my professional life.
