“Dota 2 is a game that can make you or break you” — Me
You read it right. But, it has different meaning to it. Keep reading and find out.
So, its been almost 10 days since I have installed it on my PC. I have a decent pc with the following specs:
- Intel Pentium G3240, 3.1 GHz
- 4 Gigs of DDR4 Ram
- 1 TB of hardrive
It runs games up until 2014 at playable framerates. I did a lot of research before installing. Most of the reviews I read said that it is a very complex game and not many can master it. One person even said and I quote:
Okay listen, if you are a competitive, enjoy breaking limits and achieving goals then don’t even think of installing this game. JUST DONT 💚💚💚💚ING DO IT. Try learning guitar, playing salsa, Java programming anything but not Dota. After 3–4 years of playing and more than 4k matches you will feel the same 💚💚💚💚 I feel. It is regret. You will regret that you spend so much time on a computer game that gave nothing back. Don’t get me wrong it is a great game, it is perfectly designed. It provides a wide range of emotions. BUT! You will eventually understand that you could have used all this time to make yourself a better human being and conquer the 💚💚💚💚💚💚💚 world. Instead of hitting towers, killing creeps and raging on teammates. You will think of e-sports at some time. But this game is not worth the candle. Just sit down and calculate chances yourself if you are seriously considering earning money playing it. If you want to chill with friends at weekends with friends playing a few matches then go for it, this is a great way to do it. But if I were you I would rather go to a nearby bar and find some good company and adventures instead. It will be far more profitable. Not recommended.
Okay, that is one son of a reviewer. My hands got numb typing it on my cellphone. Well he has more experience than I have. I have only played three matches compared to 4k matches. But, I would say this that I am playing it for chilling, and by this time I have enjoyed it, although they banned one of my profiles but still.
So, I would say try it out. It is a fun game and it’s mostly free. Come on, you have nothing to lose here. Hope you liked my post.
