4 Ways to use Line Art in your Design
The trend in line art is to conquer the world of graphic design — one line at a moment. It’s smart yet easy.
So what is line art precisely? All line art examples have a few prevalent features: smooth lines and no shading, with bold lines contrasting sharply with their background. These designs are generally not extremely comprehensive or realistic in modern uses and depend instead on the viewers ‘ understanding of the represented item. Line art is thus an excellent way to harness minimalism’s popularity while still communicating a powerful message, mixing text and picture into a unified whole.
With minimalism and flat design still dominating trends, line art is everywhere–sitting on top of splash pictures in internet design, producing memorable logos for new companies and combining complicated patterns on tons of eye-catching product labels.
Here I would like to share some ways you can use Line Art in your designs. These techniques are included in Graphic Design Courses in South Delhi.
1. The art symbols of the line:
There is no doubt that the most famous arena for line art is logos. To feel current and on-trend, brands use line art logos. These logos operate in color or black and white equally well. Animals and everyday personalize the business and make it more enjoyable and accessible to the logo. The easy line art makes the logo mark and form feel like a cohesive whole when it’s done well, like the one for Roam. When selecting a font for your line art logo, it is important to ensure that the weight of the type and drawing lines is approximately the same weight.
2.Patterns of line art:
Without seeing a severe quantity of line art in the form of patterns it is difficult to walk through a shop these days. From throw pillows and Tupperware to t-shirts and phone cases, they’re on everything. These patterns are an excellent way to inject a bit of fun into any composition, whether for an adult or juvenile crowd. Another type of line art pattern that is much more mature — as in the company card branding above — is a tiled version of a straightforward logo that provides a pleasant depth to design even when muted.
3. Web-designed line art:
Web developers were some of the line art trend’s earliest adopters. Websites and applications need to provide data and guide their customers in countless dimensions and screen definitions through an interface. Many developers adopt icons to do that most effectively. Think about how a little glass in the corner of a website has generally meant “search” or a little equipment means “settings.” Now line art designs decorate web pages. They are used to take an additional pop to the design of a splash page or to easily guide a user through a multi-part scrolling site. They are particularly powerful for data organization, including infographics and other fields where you need an approachable, friendly illustration of a method.
4.Invitation line art and other printed products:
Here’s one of line art’s most touching ways to tell a tale: invitations! Whether it’s a wedding, birthday or corporate event, an invitation presents a specific challenge to design. It’s a tiny room to interact with lots of significant data. Designers have taken the line art to capture both the aesthetics of the hosts and the event while keeping the relevant details such as time and date clear and legible.
