1 Minute Audio Interview (Assignment 3)

I interviewed a friend for a minute asking her about cats. This was done using the internal microphone of a phone, in a bedroom (with no carpeting). After trying multiple distances between the subject and the phone microphones, I placed the bottom part of the phone about 15–20 cm away from the subject’s mouth, as it sounded the best. There were some footsteps in the recordings prior to this one, but I did it multiple times to get one without the background footstep sounds. (Also, I discovered that the sound of a laptop’s fan can also cause background noise.)
