Sell-fish

It is mine

Mine is mine

Mine is the best

Loved deep in my chest

Yours can be a guest

Or worse

Mine has always been the best

When they want talk about me

They say selfish

Yet I am not a fishmonger,

Nor do I sell fish

For a dish.

And they call me sell-fish

I wonder if they see me with a fish

If protecting my belongings

Is selfishness,

Then allow me to indicate your weakness

From your recklessness.

When you allow diamonds

To the streets.

Such a mean gesture

Of me to have mind

Of you to have such

An invaluable valuables

From the throne of a

Dare devil

Just protect the kids,

Educate them

Train and love them

With their flaws

Cos that’s what makes them kids

…………………………

Selfish
