A Letter To Your Future Self.

Shit man, you made it. You were convinced you couldn’t, but you did. So many times you had your back against the wall, and you found a way to keep going. You and I both know it wasn’t easy, and lets be real…more than likely you found the closest thing to you turned around and broke that wall down and used that new found path to get to where you are today. I gotta tell you, I had my doubts, more that once, it wasn’t easy but you made what this god awful world handed you work. And I’m sure you don’t feel like anyone tells you enough, but just know I am so proud of you. There can’t be anything worse than having the people who are biologically programmed to love you, turn their back on you. There’s nothing harder than making a career out of sifting through all the bullshit and making your own mind up on what works best for you and not looking back. You’ve made a lot of enemies and burned a lot of bridges along the way, but don’t you ever second guess the decisions you made. You did what you had to, and it brought you out on top. I wish I knew the journey before it happens, but I know you came out the other side stronger and happier. You gotta shovel a lot of shit for your garden to flourish and I’m sure that’s what you’ve done. You’ve never had the popular opinion and you never will, but that’s what makes you, you, and that’s why people love you. You’ve held onto that idea for a long time, don’t let that go. Too many people are okay with just going with the flow. The world needs people like you. People who are okay with coloring outside the lines to make the picture look better, hold onto that and let it bring you as far as you’re willing to go and then keep going, you’ve already over stepped so many boundaries don’t stop now. Keep finding new goals and keep working for them.

I’m proud of you, keep kicking ass.
