Where Is Morality Anymore?

Often times I wonder where people’s morality went. These days it seems anyone can do something wrong and get away with it and people don’t care who gets hurt in the process.

Let’s Use My Situation For An Example

Let’s take my situation with Shawn Suleiman as an example of where people are going wrong with their morality.

Now I have had people come at me and attack me cause I can’t provide full evidence against Shawn like him asking me to buy him things or hinting at things he wanted cause he knew cause of my feelings for him I’d end up buying him the items. Mostly the reason for this is cause either I no longer have the conversations but mostly cause a lot of the times it happened over voice and I’m not one of those people who records conversations cause I find that to be going too far, in fact I shouldn’t have to provide any form of communication between me and Shawn since I am speaking truth.

This is where people have lost their moral compass, to ask me to provide proof of everything between me and Shawn is like asking a person who was sexual assaulted to provide evidence of it. For example say a man slaps a woman on the butt against her will, there is no bruising, no physical evidence whatsoever to prove that this guy unwantedly touched this woman’s behind without her permission, who you going to believe? The woman or the guy who actually sexually assaulted her? These days most people are suppose to side with the victim in such scenarios, though there are exceptions to that as some choose to believe the assailant over the victim, but than now you’ve set yourself up to where you have to stand by what you say, you can’t just up and choose when to believe someone who is claiming someone did something wrong to them and when not to. That’s the very definition of hypocrisy.

One thing I can say when it comes to my situation with Shawn is that you can actually google his name and see a wiki that posts other people making the same claims I have over Shawn and yet people still want him to get away with his wrong so he can do it to others or want to believe him over his victims. If more than one person is making the same claim about someone it cannot be just mere coincidence. A person usually has a pattern and more than one victim.

In Conclusion

At this point in time I can say we are in a real moral crisis in this country where people can do and say whatever they want and it’s screw whoever gets hurt in the process. We are in the age of technology where people who do wrongs, whether it is Shawn or a racist or a homophobe or whatever, that these truths can be spread and a person can be stopped cause it’s not carrying about others to let people like that just up and get away with their wrongs and allow them to do it to someone else.

Take my mother’s husband for example, who told me that I would not ever get with Shawn cause his deity doesn’t approve of homosexual relationships, he’s getting away with his statement and appearing right and that opens the door for him and his other Evangelical homophobic believers to teach hatred towards LGBT+ because they have physical evidence they are right that homosexuality is sinful cause I’m not with Shawn like he claimed, it doesn’t matter if I agree with him or not, it doesn’t matter if some other Tom, Dick or Harry agrees with him or not, it falls down to he believes he’s right cause he’s been proven right and that makes him more dangerous as it gives him and his fellow Evangelicals ammo to go out and say things like this to other LGBT+ and continue to teach their ignorant beliefs to new generations that will bully, torment, torture, put youth through conversion therapy, etc.

Every action, good or bad, has good and bad consequences, what we allow people to get away with that is morally wrong only comes back two-fold and more suffer for it. People do not seem to realize that things like conversion therapy causes PTSD and those who go through it will spend the rest of their lives dealing with that when it could have been prevented if people stood by their morals and what they claim. So my question is, where is that morality and why is it not being applied to everything?
