Art of War: Legions is a strategic mobile phone game developed by Fastone games. Since its inception, thousands of players have built up their armies and heroes to do battle. So, what’s the best way to go about it? It all starts up front.

As a battle starts, most of your army is set to attack the closest troop to it. Undeads, Paladins, Archers, Pumpkin Guards, most of them go marching or firing toward that unit until it is destroyed. Until they do so, they aren’t defending their rear. So, we want to pick what that targeted troop is. The longer it lives, the more time our Ghost Assassins, Magic Apprentices and Demons can deal free damage.

The hardest things to kill are Stone Golems, Rhino Knights, and Pumpkin Guards. Pumpkin Guards and Rhino Knights run forward while a Stone Golem is both durable and slow. He takes cover in the troops that have passed him and until he dies your enemy backline won’t turn and defend. *maniacal laugh*

The rest of row 1 should be Magic Apprentices, Ghost Assassins, or Demons which can’t be targeted because they fly or blink away. Doing this ensures that the durable tank you set out is that targeted troop. If you don’t have a good Stone Golem, other tanks can be used. But, a 9 or 10 Stone Golem is probably your best option.

Here are some examples: the Stone Golem trap is pretty common. A GA (Ghost Assassin) variation works well with Seondeok, who is more aligned with using Ghost Assassin as backline attackers because of her boosts. Split Stone Golems work well for Davison, but pulling the opponent in two different directions can be counter productive if you’re using center ships.

This is a classic front line.
No one is guaranteeing you win because you do this, it just helps decide where Selene’s Moonlight Shackles go. The Ghost Assassin has to be Selene side.
Rhino Knights are a good option up front as well. They’re really disruptive and can help to bunch up the enemy formation.
If you don’t place a targetable troop in row 1, then the opponent’s troops will just start targeting row 2.
I see this a lot. Please don’t do this to yourself.

Try to patch together the best versions of these that you can, and let me know how it’s going for you. If you enjoyed this, give a clap, tell your friends, tell your mama, and let’s up the level of competition.
