Well said! Biases are cultivated over decades culminating into centuries. And these cannot be wished away when we want. Slavery, the word itself reeks of a by gone era with which we do not want to relate ourselves. But they were right,

Abolition did not eradicate the tension that has been brewing eversince the first white man to come across natives branded them inferior simply because they werent white.
