I’ll never bring my phone on an international flight again. Neither should you.

You can forget your password and no one can force you to remember it. You might be detained for hours and miss your flights, but surely not waterboarded to revel it and eventually let go. If every citizen behaves this way then that stupid, unreasonable and privacy-invasive procedure will stop. But if you play their game by factory-resetting, getting a second phone, etc, then things will only get worse for everyone. It’s a necessary sacrifice. it’s up to all of us to draw the line on the sand.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
