New Leaders Arise

August 14, 2018 — Affordable Private Education Center (APEC) Muntinlupa had their Student Council (SC) election wherein students of different sections, grade levels, and shifts voted for their preferred candidates.

The Student Council Committee was determined by the students of APEC Muntinlupa as to who appealed and gave their impression to them the most. The students who are nominated as the candidates for their respective party list was given their chances to talk about their desired plans for the school in every students in each grade levels. As the sense of responsibility befalls upon them, students are expecting that they could fulfill the roles and satisfy the trust that were given upon them.

August 15, 2018 — APEC School’s Muntinlupa officially announced the new set of leaders to administer the Student Council Committee. Maria Joana Forbes as the new president, Catherine Nicole Veloso as the vice president, Ashly Villamayor as the secretary, Amiel Jonson as treasurer, Carlos Jay Espinosa as the auditor, and Alisha Aldwaine Ramos as public information officer. Chosen representatives in every year level are as follow: Eala Paulina Baroy as grade 7 representative, Ezekiel Abraham Ramos as grade 8 representative, Samantha Pasion as grade 9 representative, John Lloyd Lavanza as grade 10 representative, Chilsea Via Avecilla as grade 11 representative, and Jayferson Mutia as grade 12 representative.

“The very first thing that motivates me to run as the SC president are the students of APEC Muntinlupa because I know as a student the struggles that they also encountered and I want to to lessen those by giving them events.” Forbes said in an AMPLIFY’s interview.

The president wants to give opportunities for her fellow students, for them to showcase their talents, to help them achieve their highest potentials and to inspire them in desiring for success. Plans were already put into table as for the president in fulfilling all these through the plans and projects they came up with.
