Für Elise

This story really hit home for me. I grew up playing the piano with Rondo Alla Turca being one of my favorite pieces, and just like Luke, I can’t even conjure up the opening measures now. For years my dream was to be a famous music composer (is there even such a thing?), but it seems that one day I just stopped playing. I still dabble every now and then with my son sitting on my lap and banging the keys between my hands, but now my only goal is to provide for my family. Pursuing dreams is risky, but I sure am glad there are people brave enough to try it.
