It is important to note that stats by popularity is almost the same as Winrates by legends rating. Only Pathfinder is quite higher in winrate than by pick rate.
When you will decide which character to pick in your matches then you will think about your playstyle that will define Weapons that you should use.
Do you want to play agressive and stick as close as possible to your enemies? — then your choise could be on Shotguns and Pistols. But maybe you want to stay away and be unreachable for your opponents but still want to win and deal high damage? — then Sniper Rifles and some of Assault Rifles should be in list of your inventory.
