Freelancing: a term that is commonly used to refer to the task of a person known as a freelancer who is capable of offering business services to multiple clients at the same time for an amount of money. He or she is self-employed and not necessarily committed to an employer for a long term.
In recent times, blockchain technology has emerged and numerous ICOs are in high demand for the freelancer’s services in different campaign platforms to promote their ICOs but none has the freelancer’s interest at heart up until now. The Blocklancer platform is here to bring stability in the system bearing the freelancer solely in mind.
The Blocklancer platform has realized the numerous disadvantages that the freelancers are facing and decided that it is high time to bring succor to these set of individuals. And this succor will enhance the collaboration between the freelancer and the clients. It will also settle issues such as; refusals of payment for the agreed-on amount of money for a project, fake or undeserved reviews, and the uncontrollable influence and abuse of power of a central authority figure.

Freelancing is one of the markets that is growing at a very fast speed and it has become a means of generating revenue even for the economy and the workers statistically, has increased to 55 million workers. Meaning that in few years to come, there will be even more rapid growth, therefore Blocklancer platform is here to guide and support the freelancer in order that they will not be taken for granted knowing there is someone that is supporting and fighting for them.

Presently there are numerous problems the freelancers is confronted with especially from website that offers job opportunity and they are as follows:
1. Unnecessarily difficult to receive payment from Clients after having done and submitted jobs to client.
2. Clients leaving undeserving/negative profile reviews
3. High fees on current freelancing platforms and because the freelancer may not have any choice, he will still pay such fees.
4. Unlimited centralized power on current freelancing platforms.

Blocklancer solutions to the above challenges are as follows:
1. Blocklancer offers an escrow alternative for fixed price contracts: By this option, it implies that after an agreement is reached, the client’s money will be frozen until the freelancers completes the agreed task, now if the client at the end of the day is not satisfied with the task of the freelancer, he can now report to the tokenholders who will settle the differences. The freelancer has the same right in all situations where a client will want to give the freelancer a bad review out of sentiment from a previous job done.
2. With Blocklancer in place, freelancer can now say goodbye to wrong voting as such will be penalized by losing vote shares.
3. On other platform, freelancer may write to support with the expectation that they will come to the freelancer’s rescue but to no avail but on the Blocklancer’s platform, the Tokenholder Tribunal dispute resolution process will also be applicable here as well.
3. On other platform and websites as mentioned earlier, the rate of fees is rather high thereby discouraging the freelancers but on the Blocklancer platform, only takes 3% of the employment contract’s price in fees is taken, which Blocklancer platform the lowest amount of fees on any freelancing platform on the market, giving Blocklancer a major competitive advantage to capturing market share.
4. One of the challenges a freelancer faces is the unlimited power in the hand of the website owners who sometimes can go as far as deleting the freelancers account thereby rendering the effort of the freelancer useless. Oh! How discouraging can it get! Just imagine working day and night, putting in all the resource at hand into a job only to wake up the next morning to see your account is no more.
This problem reduces the trust in freelancing platforms because freelancers can lose their source of income at any given time, making freelancing platforms too unsecure to be a sole source of work for Freelancers. On the Blocklancer platform, this is an impossible occurrence because there is no a single authority but the fairly incentivized Tokenholder Tribunal.

Blocklancer platform aims to bring sanity into the freelancer platform or market in such a way that both the clients and the freelancer will benefit and to achieve this, there are processes that the platform has put in place as follows:

● offering jobs,
● applying for jobs,
● doing reviews, and
● The Tokenholder Tribunal.

To as many that advocate for this stability in the freelancing market, your singular contribution to join the Blocklancer ICO will do a great job. Blocklancer Tokens will be open for everyone to buy in the form of a crowdsale by pledging Ether into the smart contract. In a situation where you don’t have Ether, you will be able to convert other Cryptocurrencies via a third-party conversion service at the main page. The first hour of the sale, tokens will be available at a rate of 12,000 LNC to 1 ETH. After the first hour, the rate changes to 10,000 LNC to 1 ETH for the first 10 million Blocklancer Tokens and this rate decreases by 1 % for every 10 million tokens sold.
Blocklancer’s main goal is to become the biggest player in the freelancing market, and once this goal is realized, the opportunity being offered now may not be available.
