I feel good.

Not a huge difference in the way my stomach looks from last time, but I feel really, really good. My shirts fit the way they used to before baby and it feels good to take time out and do something for myself every day. And while I didn’t plan on dieting, working out made me want to eat better. I didn’t give up my burgers or cake or pudding or bacon, but I did substitute breakfast with a protein shake.
Working out made me feel so good (and I wanted to take advantage of my sweet husband taking time out of his work day to watch Han), that I started doing YouTube workouts. Oh my gosh. Han just pooped. I heard it and I smell it. I will change him and come back this time because I really want to tell you about the YouTube workouts.
His poop has really changed now that he’s eating more solid food. It smells terrible.
Anyway, every morning after I completed the ab workout, I would do this butt workout. It is really amazing. The first time I did it, I really struggled, but now I do the video twice without much of a struggle. Really everything on the Boho Beautiful channel is great. For the first 30 to 45 seconds of each video she just walks around in booty shorts at the beach and moves hair out of her face, but the actual workouts are great. My jeans fit even better now than they did before baby.
I’m going to keep doing the workouts and I’ve started exploring other YouTube workouts. I love the way I feel. Having a baby changed my body in a profound way, obviously, but it also changed my mind. Maybe one day when I’m feeling brave I’ll write about the darkness but until then I’m going to continue working on feeling good.
