What once was a trusted source for products has turned into nothing more than a flea market.

Four weeks ago — note the foreshadowing — I went to purchase a no touch thermometer for my office, a currently mandated item for open businesses in Santa Clara, CA. After clicking through dozens of options with nearly the same specs I settled on a $99 option that touted FDA approval and a 5-star rating — a pair of them would arrive in two weeks.
