When teammates speak up to try and convince you to invest in a feature or build a new product they’re both showing you respect and allowing themselves to be vulnerable.

Hey Dal, thanks for your article. I think this idea is really important. Just because you don’t agree with an idea or it isn’t the right move at the time doesn’t mean that it shouldn’t be shared. Sharing ideas and taking the risk to voice a contrary opinion is a huge sign that your employee is engaged, interested and wants what is best for the company. While the idea itself might not work, that involvement and dedication should always be encouraged and appreciated.
