I live in Vermont, he was my Mayor, My congressman and my Senator. I worked on the local ferry a couple years ago. we never were allowed to eat any of the food and it was thrown away. Bernie had a birthday party and he told the Capt as soon as he knew that every crew member was going to eat or no one would. I had a chat with Bernie ( yes he stopped to listen) and i told him I don’t believe in some of his policies but have always voted for him. He asked me why and I told him he was the only person in washington who votes with his beliefs and not based on whats good for re-election or some party. We need more Congress like that and it’s way overdue for a president who cant be swayed or bought by money or favors owed.
