This is so good — I laugh (to keep from yelling) at people who think that immigrants are drains on this country. It’s incredibly complicated and not exactly cheap to immigrate here, and I always wonder how people find time to jump through all those hoops while working or raising a family. It takes a lot of dedication and I’m keeping my fingers crossed that citizenship comes easily for you!
