What Is Aptos Node and How Does It Work?
Aptos Yields is proud to introduce the first “Nodes-as-a-Service” (NaaS) protocol that is named “Aptos Node” on Aptos Ecosystem! This initiative makes it possible for anyone, no matter their technical background, to create a full blockchain node in a few seconds by providing a name and description for their node, and generate passive income by simply holding the node. From now on, There will be no need for powerful ASIC miners or expensive electricity bills to become a passive income earner!
Aptos Node aims to become the biggest defi-as-a-service Node Protocol on Aptos. We have carefully analyzed all node forks and adjusted our metrics accordingly. Eventually, we created a much more stable and sustainable model compared to others.
How does it work?
In Aptos Node, There are different tiers that you can choose from depending on your investment. Nodes are also NFTs that will eventually be tradable on secondary markets (Topaz)
Your Node is your position in the protocol and determines the percentage of protocol revenue you receive, and this is what brings in your passive income.
How to get a Node?
It’s very easy to get a node. You first need to buy $AY tokens, and then use your $AY to mint a node. This creates Protocol-Owned-Liquidity and boosts stability for you and Aptos Node.
Please note:
- You can create nodes on different tiers at different costs and there’s no limit to how many nodes you can create.
- In the first phase Node NFTs are not tradable, but as we grow Node NFTs will be tradable on secondary markets, meaning your position is not locked in forever. A royalty will be applied to grow the treasury even more and allow you to cash out your initial investment if you desire.

Note: Players don’t have to claim their earnings every day. Node earnings pile up. Also, the distributions are not instant. It may take 1h to 12h to receive collected node earnings however players can free continue to collect earnings during this waiting period.
