Tell me your dreams

It started with a movie

This was the time, when I was having the best time of my life
This was the time, I had just started understanding social networking websites
This was the time, when I was that stupid guy on Internet.

Year 2011

I: So, tell me your dreams… :)
She: I…I want to be an architecture. ;)
I: Wow, that’s really good and creative thing !!!
She: So, what’s yours?

And I went on to write a long paragraph, I told her, I’m going for computer engineering, I have a great idea for a website, I told her I’m going to launch it once I get into engineering. And 23 other related things :P

This was the time, I didn’t know how to make even a static webpage.
This was the time, I didn’t know the words ‘entrepreneur’ and ‘startup’.
Hack, this was the time, I didn’t even know how to talk to girls.

Out of excitement of telling my dreams, I even added that I’m going to throw an awesome success party.
She replied firmly “Write my name on the top of your invite list”

I was so happy that she was coming to my success party, but there won’t be a party unless I become successful,
I won’t become successful unless I execute my idea.
My idea won’t be executed unless I learn how to.
I won’t learn ‘how to’ unless I get into engineering, wait…what? Something is wrong here in this line.
Few days later,
She got into architecture institute and I got into engineering.

If I were to brutally honest with myself — I was extremely dumb person before

Its only after a week of studying I understood how much was I wrong.
Actual learning has nothing to do with engineering (Especially in my university) and everything to do with your intuition, your feelings, your consciousness.
My mind was evolving then, but was slowly.

And then one day, something catastrophic happened.
This was the time, I felt a real pain.
This was the time, I realized world can be very bad place
This was the time, all I really wanted was to die.

I was living like a zombie — alive but dead.
And my dreams… my dreams were lost.
