I read the first chapter of book “ Do This And You’ll Be Welcome Anywhere”. It was remarkable book. The author wrote the book in a very simple and easy wording. Although i’ve just read the first chapter only but i can’t live without admiring that the author’s way of convincing about some point is very impressive. He uses examples to make people understand about his idea. And his this way of giving example really help reader to come to the level at which the author is talking. He also repeats his points which are important near to him.

The chapter was about being interested not interesting. The author tells “It is the individual who is not interested in his fellow men who has the greatest difjculties in life and provides the greutest injury to others. It is from umong such individuals that all humun failures spring”.

The author gives different examples from his life and also from the life of other that the habit of being interested and not interesting helped the people in their lives.People always remember the person who cares them, shows respect to them, listens to them.

It really made me feel to change myself because i was also involved in this bad habit to some extend. So what i did, I talked to my friends, relatives and the people to whom i know, and tried my best to listen to them, talk about them, and if they asked something about me I gave answer very shortly and in return asked a question about them.

The result was very surprising. The people’s behavior towards me became even more positive, they started to gave me more respect. But beside of this the most important change i have seen that it started finishing my habit of live in “I”.I realized that the people who live in “i” that is “I’ll do that”, “I’m the best”, “only i am capable pf this” are not respected by anyone.
