A Question for Anyone Who Can Answer it:

Is it wrong to love someone who will never love you? Is it wrong to love movie stars, dead poets, other people’s husbands? Because love can make us crash and it and can make us burn but it can make us soar.

So is it wrong to have love that goes untouched? Love that might get dusty, or fade in the sunlight, but always sits on your shelf? I know I will always love him, or at least I think I will. And yes, it’s childish. And yes, I’m old enough to know better than to have real-life tangible feelings for a singer. A singer. He’s maybe not as honest as he seems, he’s maybe not as heartbroken as he sings.

My love for him hurts, but it makes my heart swell. Is that wrong?
