You are told you are wicked

You tell others they are joy

You give your energy

While they gorge on your emptiness

When you have given everything away

They horde all of your secrets to hold you ransom

Then you make others free

While you tie your hands with knots that you cannot undo

Do not cry

Unless you watch yourself naked in the mirror

Trace the tears with your fingers as they evaporate down your body

And see the world mourns with you

Your beauty makes the minutes, seconds liveable

You are the second hand of every clock

If you didn’t exist

Neither would time

If you are evil

If you are unlovable

Why does every man fall at your feet and beg your forgiveness

Your life is inspiration

You are a sun goddess

An enchantress

The universe spins because it loves you
