Thank you for this. I'll be going through it a few times to get information firmly implanted in my brain. I've already told mum that having the heater on most of the day on cold days, which we're both guilty of, is wasting electricity and we should put it on for an hour and then make sure we're dressed appropriately to stay warm. The biggest problem with we have is that this is an old house and mum has just enough money that she doesn't qualify for grants.
