I think that if and only if Time Travel is possible, the only reason why our ‘future’ selves or other humans haven’t contacted us is that our current time period does not have the base layout set up to support time travel. May be time travel is possible in the future, but requires a set of specialized equipment? I’m pretty sure that we cannot achieve time travel without setting up specific equipment for it before. Just like sending a file between two devices requires wifi or a bluetooth connection in them, we may simply lack that connection to the future as we are yet. Time Travel requires infinite energy as stated above and quoted by Einstein. However, what’s to say that what is considered impossible in our perspective may just be possible in the future. Comparing our current processing power to what it was a few decades ago would be an example.

With time, comes progress and progress represents the development that was once considered far fetched. No man in the Iron ages would have imagined a computer or a super car. Similarly, its my view that time travel is possible, but just not in a scale of what we perceive it to be. May be its the future laws that prevent us from having any contact with the time travelers or we simply lack the resources and the pure base that would allow us to invite or be compatible with technology that we now consider impossible. I agree that the entire concept of Time Travel would be considered delirious, but if we can observe it near a black hole or muse about it inside a worm hole, it may just be lurking where our flashlight doesn’t shine yet.
