Bible Study Guide Day 365: Revelation 19–22
There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever.
Revelation 22:5
Revelation 19
Threefold Hallelujah Over Babylon’s Fall
In Revelation 19, we see the triumphant return of Jesus Christ as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. The chapter begins with a great multitude in heaven praising God for His righteous judgment on the great prostitute and her destruction. This is followed by another chorus of praise for God’s salvation and glory.
We also see the marriage supper of the Lamb, symbolizing the union between Christ and His church. This is a beautiful depiction of the eternal relationship between God and His people.
The Heavenly Warrior Defeats the Beast
A white horse appears, representing the victorious return of Jesus. He is followed by an army of angels and the saints who are dressed in white, symbolizing their purity and righteousness.
The beast, along with the false prophet, is thrown into the lake of fire and destroyed. This marks the end of Satan’s reign on earth and his ultimate defeat.
