When it comes to the UCAT, being familiar with the commands is key to saving you time and getting you the best score possible. It could be useful to know that Control + C can quickly open the calculator, this could save you some time when you really need it.

It’s also worth being familiar with the “memory” function. The memory function acts to recall any stored numbers from previous calculations. This includes the MRC — Memory Clear, M+ — Memory Plus and M- — Memory Minus. Get used to using these buttons and learning what they do.

The final UCAT calculator tip that could save you some time concerns use of the number pad on the right side of the keyboard. Using this may be difficult at first, but can be more efficient and lead to less mistakes in the long run.

All the best for your UCAT prep!
