Hi, community

Hope you’re having a great holiday season. We are approaching the end of December and the year 2022, and many of you have joined the ArchLoot community for more than 8 months. Thank you for all the love and support!

Since the end of our third phase of the closed beta test, the open beta test has been a long-awaited event that mounts expectations but to no avail yet. Being aware of the high anticipation circulating across the community, everyone in the team is keen at this moment to bring the ArchLoot game to you. But in order to present a quality product, we are responsible to say that, there is more work to be done before the official rollouts.

With nothing else to focus on, we are sweeping every corner to ensure the best product delivery. Given that said, there must have been burning questions from your side.

  • What keeps the team busy so far?
  • What else needs to be done?
  • What is worthy of expectations in the future?

We assure you there are satisfactory answers to be found as follows. Let’s break down the details now.

TL;DR version

  • ArchLoot team is actively working with Numen Cyber which provides industry-leading Web3 security and cybersecurity solutions to scrutinise on-chain and off-chain security.
  • Based on data and feedback collected in closed beta tests, over 20 devs who work remotely across the globe have been ceaselessly adding new features to the game, particularly a new monthly pass system that balances the economy.
  • The game is undergoing significant updates, including more user support and user experience enhancements.
  • New community growth and partner programs will be released soon, with more updates on the partner incentive system which has met the community in a previous post underway.

May speed be as ten times potent as pounding your heartbeat; we believe quality brings the trust that lasts long for all of us in this gaming wonderland.

Security: Heading to the Best, Prepared for the Worst

ArchLoot has partnered up with Numen Cyber, a CREST and ISO-certified body that has been dedicated to maintaining the integrity and security of Web3 projects. Its security research team comprises the world’s top security experts, who have previously worked with some of the world’s most renowned blockchains and organizations such as Aptos, Sui, Eos, Ripple, Tron and Binance. Some of its global partners include Huawei, Tencent, Microsoft Azure, Oort, ChainUp and Amazon.

Web3 gaming has been a place that lacks no vulnerabilities and we intend to give it the best level of insurance. These works are a part of efforts to bolster the resilience and security of the project, covering smart contracts, the official website, mobile APP, dashboard, marketplace, and more.

All customer-facing elements were tested and then brought back online on schedule, operating with enhanced security features. Based on current results, there will not be any indication of financial and technical details to be compromised or to facilitate bots grinding, financial frauds or rugs. The game will be bringing a frictionless experience across the app and other related infrastructures in a secure manner.

Game Economy: Free-to-play Meets Dual-token Model

The current volatility of the cryptocurrency markets has gamers and NFT investors rightfully concerned. There are numerous reasons why GameFi projects fail to strike a balance, including an insufficient initial supply, price tanks, non-substantial in-game NFTs and sometimes the lack in the content layer which results in poor retention and the shadow of Ponzi.

ArchLoot’s economic model is carefully crafted to suit the benefits of ecosystem stakeholders, including a rarity-based NFT system and a dual-token model comprises of governance token $ALT the in-game gold $ALG. To protect the long-term financial health of the game, the team has not only developed a set of supportive projection tools and safeguarding mechanisms but is now upgrading it to add a new monthly pass system.

Based on a free-to-play model, the system offers 4 tiers of services to all gamers by introducing 3 types of monthly passes. Firstly, users without any pass can still enter the game and have a taste of the gameplay, defeating monsters, winning chests and acquiring resources to level up the experience. One free chest opening is allowed per day, as prices paid by $ALG increase for every next chest.

Secondly, an Adventurer Pass that can be freely minted on the official website will get you the precious opportunity to grab $ALG in the game from chests, with no access to NFTs or tradable gears. One free chest opening is allowed per day, as prices paid by $ALG increase for every next chest.

A Goblin Pass earns money. It unlocks an extra string of tasks, by finishing which the gamer will be able to earn considerably more $ALG. It also entitles the owner to loot NFT body parts by opening the chests won in PVE battles. One free chest opening is allowed per day, as prices paid by $ALG increase for every next chest.

A Collector Pass reaps more NFTs and resources. It allows 6 times free chest opening and gains the owner better odds in getting rarer NFT body parts, significantly lowering the cost while assisting the battle journey. Owners of both a Goblin Pass and a Collector Pass have the best level of earnings in the game.

ArchLoot game provides 4 separate rewards pools which contain $ALG, NFTs and other materials respectively to each tier. In doing so, the total production and consumption of vital substances in the ecosystem are factually maintained without damaging all the fun. The system ensures a healthy circle that provides proper rewards to gamers that are backed by real value and recurring activities in the game. Skilled gamers will not be dwarfed by relatively limited input and devoted gamers will not be frustrated by limited gains.

Building on that, Mystery box buyers who own epic and legendary-level NFT body parts will be having better fighting capacities at the very beginning, ahead of everyone who’s carving their way out for a rarer NFT.

And an in-depth analysis regards to the monthly pass system can be expected very soon.

Game Development

The new version of ArchLoot will be back with not only the monthly pass system but also language and graphical upgrades, gameplay improvements and new content inspired by our guild partners and community members. Taken together, the update intends to be a welcome and compelling invitation for all of you to revisit PlanetALT3.

It is not an easy job to integrate fungible and non-fungible tokens into a close-to-mature game product without defacing the gameplay. Without technically adding to the complexities, ArchLoot unearths a tactical approach with a rarity-based NFT system, a durability system, and an earning system that balances the skills and the investment. A series of minor bugs related to these systems have been fixed and those tiny amendments will change the product for the better.

A new official website is about to launch very soon, magically signalling future steps.

Better educational materials, including a beginner’s guide and FAQs, will also be released to assist you in fully realising the fantasy in the ArchLoot world.

Growth Plans

The capacity of the devs can be a factor that curbs the innovation of a project. In this case, ArchLoot is lucky enough to gather a professional team that has been leveraging the ready-to-use new referral incentive system developed by its parent publisher Connexion, whose integration is incredibly easy thanks to the open APIs.

It will be providing tiered “loyalty programs” that offer guilds and individuals different rewards based on milestones they reach. More technical and rewards details will be disclosed before the open beta test, alongside the community events for a palpable exciting vibe.

Jonathan Ubavicious, CEO of ArchLoot, shared his words: “In the last 2 months, combined with the prudent use of funds, we focused on execution across our key development programs: product updates, security checks and economic health. These efforts enabled us to meaningfully advance our agenda. For gamers, when you enter the open beta test, you may also find yourself, as I do, quickly feeling the recent tweaks and fixes that smoothly guide the journey. For our investors and partners, you will be about to find our sufficient runway through the current macro environment to realize value-creating deliveries to all stakeholders.”
